The vision of the University shall be to make quality the defining elements of teacher training whereby the curriculum is relevant and responsive to the needs of Nigerian society.
Our Mission
The mission of the University shall be to produce highly motivated and skilled teachers worthy in character and learning through effective teaching, research and public service for Basic and Post-basic Education. To stimulate the academic environment for promotion of quality teaching, learning and research in teacher education. Prepare for periodic assessment and accreditation of programmes run in the University. To encourage self-evaluation, accountability, autonomy and good innovation in the University. To undertake qualitative related research and consultancy services. To collaborate with all stakeholders in the growth and development of the University.
